The Heartsaver Total First Aid CPR AED course is intended for individuals with little or no medical background who are required to complete training for their job or other regulatory requirements. The course is also intended for individuals who wish to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. The blended learning course consists of an online learning component in addition to a hands-on skills portion.
After registration, participants will be sent a course link to access the online portion of the course. The cognitive portion utilizes a variety of eLearning features to teach CPR and/or first aid knowledge. The participant can complete the online portion at their own pace and on their own schedule.
Upon completion of the online portion (Part 1), participants will receive a certificate of completion. The certificate of completion must be presented at the time of the hands-on skills session (Part 2). The hands-on skills session is scheduled on the date and time listed and takes approximately 2.5 hours.
Optional: Upon completion of the Heartsaver Total First Aid CPR AED modules, there is an option to complete child and infant CPR learning modules.
There are no refunds for blended learning courses.
Participants will receive a course completion card that is valid for two years.
